Dawn Anjialie Gaskill

Mrs. Dawn Anjialie Turner Gaskill, 57, went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Duke University Medical Center.  She was born November 22, 1961 in Forsyth County, the daughter of Hugh and Beverly White Turner, Sr.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints (Winston-Salem), employed by Novant Health since 1998 and was the secretary of the Winston-Salem Sail and Power Boat Squadron.  Dawn enjoyed her dogs, loved to read, enjoyed spending time with friends at church and traveling.  She was a kind, gentle and caring person; who had kind words for everyone in any type of situation.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Albert Clarke Gaskill, Jr.  Survivors include her brother, Hugh “Pete” Turner, Jr. and wife Cathy of Clyde, NC; a special nephew, Phillip Turner and wife, Tiffany of Clyde, NC and two great nieces, Abigail and Makenna.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints (Winston-Salem) with Bishop Nathaniel Ivers officiating.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends after the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ Latter day Saints, 4780 Westchester Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
