Mrs. Debra “Debbie” Lynn Bowles Comer, 68, passed away Wednesday, January 28,2026, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on August 6, 1957, in Forsyth County, NC, to Clarence Edward Bowles, Sr. and Bessie Mozelle McGuire Bowles. Debbie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member at Antioch United Methodist Church in Rural Hall, NC. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and playing the piano and played at the church when needed. Debbie retired from First Citizens Bank after twenty plus years’ services. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Clarence “Eddie” Bowles, Jr. Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Tommy Lee Comer; two daughters, Karen Comer and Pamela Woods(Tony); six grandchildren, Kaylee Wygal (Nick), Tyler Watts, Jacob Watts, Madeline Bailey, Lydia Bailey, and Mason Parker; three great-grandchildren, Colton Wygal, Iz’Myr Bailey, and Everleigh Wygal; and her brother, Randy Bowles (Regina).
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Antioch United Methodist Church in Rural Hall, NC. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
