Mrs. Debra "Debbie" Louise Westlake Hagan, 65, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Debbie was born in Steubenville, Ohio on October 24, 1952, to the late Robert and Evelyn Westlake. Debbie was an alumnus of Ohio University and graduate of Ashland College in 1974. Debbie taught special education at Shelby High School in Shelby, Ohio from 1974 to 1977. She was a long-time member of Parkwood Presbyterian Church in Allison Park, PA and current member of Clemmons Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and teaching bible studies. Left to cherish Debbie's memory are her beloved husband of 44 years, F.M. Hagan; proud mother of Shana Folk, Benjamin Hagan (Ritu), Robert Hagan (Kimberly); beloved grandmother of Aibhilin Folk, Hagan Folk, Amaya Hagan, Jay Hagan, Jack Hagan; loving sister of David Westlake and Bryan Westlake (Judy); and proud sister-in-law and aunt. Debbie loved her vivacious circle of female friends, "The Pillars" and will be remembered for her passion for dishes, her hospitality, her leadership, her abiding faith, and her family. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Clemmons Presbyterian Church with Rev. Patrick McElwaine officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Clemmons Presbyterian Church. Debbie was preceded in death by her beloved grandchildren, Abigail Grace Folk and Colin Emmanuel Folk. This unimaginable loss led Debbie to the strong support she provided for the March of Dimes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the March of Dimes Foundation Donation Processing Center, P.O. Box 673667, Marietta, GA 30006. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family of Mrs. Hagan.
