Debra Lindsay Laws

Debra Lindsay Laws, 71, of Kernersville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on October 22, 2025.

Born in May 1954 to the late George and Louise Lindsay, Debra devoted her life to faith, family, and service to others. She dedicated her career to helping children and families as a social worker in child protective services and adoptions, where her compassion and commitment touched countless lives.

Debra is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Danny Laws; her sons, Stephen Laws and Jarrett Laws (Margaret); her grandchildren, Jackson and Caroline Laws; and her brother, Steve Lindsay (Betsy). She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.

A private family graveside service will be held on October 29, 2025, in Wilkes County, North Carolina, with a celebration of her life to be held at a later date.
