Delbert Ray Allgood, Jr.
Delbert Ray Allgood, Sr. passed away Friday afternoon February 3, 2012 at Hospice of Alamance. He was born on December 12, 1928 in Forsyth County to the late Isac Earl and Bertie Shore Allgood. Delbert loved to travel and camp. He is survived by daughter Jennie A. Shaw and husband Harvey; son Delbert R. Allgood, Jr; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and brother Thurman Allgood and wife Dot. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday February 6, 2012 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Gary Elrod officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance, 918 Chapel Hill Rd, Burlington, N.C. 27215. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:55 PM Monday February 6, 2012 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
