Delores Gilley

Mrs. Delores Jean Robbins Gilley, 69, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Memory Care of the Triad in Kernersville, after a valiant fight with Lewy Body Dementia. She was born on February 22, 1953, in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late Joseph Pearson Robbins and Beulah Mae Snow Robbins. Mrs. Gilley will always be remembered as a loving mother to her children and “Maw Maw” to her grandchildren. She worked at N.C. Baptist Hospital and Forsyth Medical Center as a nursing assistant and unit secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Edwin Gilley. Mrs. Gilley is survived by her three children, Samantha Ingalls (Chris), Sabrina Moore (Daniel) and Kyle Gilley (Stephanie); six grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Daphne Moore, Caroline Moore, Mackenzie Gilley, Ellianna Gilley, and Jackson Gilley; two sisters, Wanda Boles (Marty) and Kathy Handy (Jack); and four brothers, Ronnie Robbins (Gail), Jerry Robbins (Jennifer), David Robbins and Terry Robbins. She is also survived by her loving canine companion, Teddy Gray and several nieces, nephews and extended family. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Crestview Memorial Park with Bro. Jerry Robbins officiating.
