Delories Cashwell

Mrs. Delories Thompson Cashwell, 84, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born June 6, 1933 in Bladen County to Katie MaeRene Duncan Thompson and Noah Johnson Thompson. Delories starting singing at a young age and continued her love of gospel music with her sons. She was a member of Redland Church, IPHC and retired from Hanes Narrow Fabrics after 20 years of service. Surviving are her three sons, Johnny Cashwell (Carol) of Advance, Gerry Cashwell of Winston-Salem and Alvin Cashwell of Asheville; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two sisters, Betty Guyton of Akron, OH and Grace Henderson (Herb) of Smithfield. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Dave Richardson, Mr. Tim Dunn and Rev. Clint Brouhard officiating. Interment will follow in Redland Church, IPHC cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
