Dennis Ray Ketner

Mr. Dennis Ray Ketner, 67, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015. He was born December 5, 1947 in Forsyth County to the late Clyde Monroe Ketner and Mary Erline Lawson Ketner. Mr. Ketner proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ketner was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Ketner. Surviving are his son, Matthew Ketner (Laura); grandson, Wyatt Ketner; sister, Carolyn Walker (Bruce); brother, Bobby Ketner (Ruth); sister-in-law, Nellie Ketner; special friend, Sandra Secrest and her sons, Matthew and Doug Secrest; and also, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. A memorial service will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Chaplain Tom Southern officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
