Dennis Earl Rumburg

WALKERTOWN - Dennis E. Rumburg, 70, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was the son of the late Forest E. and Elector Rumburg of Princeton, WV. Mr. Rumburg was a member of Triad Baptist Church and a self-employed heavy equipment mechanic. Surviving are his wife, Jacque Rumburg of the home; two daughters, Julia Rumburg of Winston Salem, Kelly Flood and husband, Anthony of Walkertown; a son, David Rumburg and wife, Pam of Walnut Cove; five grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, and Calla Flood, and Jackson and Victoria Rumburg; two brothers, Dr. H. Rondel Rumburg and wife, Barbara, Owen ""Skeeter"" Rumburg and wife, Delilah; three sisters, Pamela Wood and husband, Ronald, Martha Brookman and husband, Ronnie, and Susie Strickland and husband, Jerry. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Robert G. Decker officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at the funeral home. A committal service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013 at New Zion Regular Baptist Church Cemetery in Oakvale, WV Memorials may be made to Kate B.
