Denson M. Mabe

WALKERTOWN - Mr. Denson M. Mabe, 88, died Monday, December 22, 2014.
He was born April 12, 1926 in Stokes Co. to the late Drew and Lonie Mabe. Mr. Mabe retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Guindolyn and Clete Mabe.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Stoltz Mabe; two daughters, Elaine Gentry (husband, Glenn) and Patty Mabe; two sons, Denny Mabe (wife, Sharon) and Keith Mabe (wife, Susan); four grandchildren, Shelley Pitts (husband, Steve), Meredith Principe (husband, Craig), Drew Mabe (wife, Ruthy) and Michael Mabe; two great grandchildren, Alex Pitts and Michael Mabe; two brothers, JT Mabe (wife, Dot) and Allen Mabe (wife, Lorene); and one sister, Marie Marshall.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Ruth Mabe.
A private family committal will follow the service.
