Denver Hurley

Denver H. Hurley, 77, fought a good battle and lost, but he won the ultimate victory. He is now with his Lord and Savior and his precious family. Denver was born on Aug. 17, 1941 in Majestic, KY. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps., serving during the Vietnam War. Denver leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Barbara of 51 years; son, Kenneth Hurley; and granddaughter, Ally. Surviving family also includes a host of brothers, sisters, and cousins that he truly loved. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Woodland Baptist Church, with Rev. Tim Gammons and Mr. Don Walker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church prior to the service from 12:30 - 2:00 PM.
