Dewey Kemp Bullard

Mr. Dewey “Kemp” Bullard, 87, passed Monday, October 9, 2023, at Universal Healthcare of King. He was born June 12, 1936, in Forsyth County, NC to the late Tom Dewey Bullard and Ruby Esther Hogan Bullard. Kemp was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He served in the US Navy as a flagman. Kemp was a graduate of Walkertown High School. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling to the mountains and especially to Myrtle Beach. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Kay Bullard; three sons, Tommy Bullard (Laine), Tony Bullard (Teresa), and Todd Bullard (Michele); seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Bullard (Nancy); and four nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Trellis Supportive Care and Universal Healthcare of King for their care to Kemp during this time. A memorial service will be conducted 2pm Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Wesley Johnson officiating.
