Diane Leigh Boyd Shores

Mrs. Diane Leigh Boyd Shores, 74, passed away on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, at her home in Rural Hall. She was born on October 4th, 1951, in Forsyth County to the late Lois Terrelle Boyd and Katherine Davis Boyd. Diane enjoyed crocheting, fishing, and spending time with her dogs and family. She retired from Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital as a registered nurse. After retiring, she worked at Trinity Glenn Nursing Facility. Most importantly, Diane was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a loving aunt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Shores, and a sister, Kathy Boyd Harris. Diane is survived by one son, Larry T. Boyd, 3 granddaughters, Ashley Wilaby, Brianna Boyd and Courtney Boyd, nine great-grandchildren and two nieces, Cindy Vanhoy and Christina Harris. There will be no formal services at this time.
