Mrs. Dixie Lee Fisher Houston, 93, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 at The Oaks at Forsyth. She was born January 7, 1919 in Forsyth County to Oscar Hayes and Mittie Yokley Fisher. Mrs. Houston was a member of Trinity Moravian Church. She was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 37 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Grace Medearis, Alberta Waggoner, Margaret Anderson, Cleve Peelle and Nancy Deal; and two brothers, William ""Bill"" Fisher and O.H. Fisher, Jr. Surviving is one daughter, Scottie Sue Dickerson (Jerry) of Hamptonville; three grandchildren, Doug Kelly (Susan), Kay Gentry and Michael Dickerson (Missy); four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother, Jack Fisher, Sr. (Rebecca); and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 5 at Trinity Moravian Church with the Rev. John Jackman officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Moravian Graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Moravian Church, 220 E.
