Mrs. Dolly Belle Quesenberry Lawson Mays, 89, went to be the with Lord, December 16, 2023.  She was born May 11, 1934, in Montgomery County, VA, to the late Lee David Quesenberry and Ethel Virginia Taylor Quesenberry.  She and her husband Linzy served as missionaries in Jamaica, West Indies, and the Venture of Faith Camp, Lake Park, GA.  Dolly was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Valdosta, GA.  She loved reading, especially her Bible, and was a faithful prayer warrior.  Dolly loved the outdoors and working in the yard. Most of all, she loved being with her family.  She always looked forward to that special time when everybody was together.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Linzy “Tom” Lawson, and her second husband, Thomas Henry Mays; son-in-law, Chip Simmons Conrad; sisters, Mae Gwyn, Delia Stevens, Thelma Durman, Sarah Smith, Polly Lawson, and Elva Danley; brothers, Dempsey, Carl, David, and Franklin Quesenberry.  She is survived by four children, Judy Edwards (Bob), Tony Lawson (Elaine), Terry Lawson (Christy), and Sherri Conrad; six grandchildren, Lindsey Hargett (David), Cody Conrad, Jonathan, Joshua, Hannah, and Justus Lawson; two great-grandchildren, Harper Conrad and Ellie Hargett; one very special niece, Rachel Roberts, and many nieces and nephews.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastors, Joe Arthur, Bob Edwards, and Terry Lawson officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Cedar Hill Primitive Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.  The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Woltz Hospice Home for their Professional care given to Dolly during her time there.  In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 1429 Edgewood Drive, Mt.
