It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dolores Hartlage Hoilman, 95, of Clemmons on July 8, 2026. Dolores was born January 31, 1931, in Forsyth County, to Albert Hartlage and Gaynelle Grimes Hartlage. She was a faithful member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. She took pride in everything she did, from her work as Executive Secretary at Gay and Taylor Insurance Adjusters, creating beautiful ceramic art, keeping meticulous records, or to the way she dressed every day. Her family still enjoys displaying her ceramic pieces. She and husband Hoyt enjoyed spending many summers in their Airstream at Myrtle Beach. In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Hoilman; and her sister, Susan Hartlage Grubbs. She leaves behind her sister, Katherine Coats (Terry); brother, Fred Hartlage; niece, Denise Everett (Jess); nephews, Stephen Coats (Melissa) and Allan Coats (Stacey); grand nieces and nephews as well as her family of cherished friends at Trinity Elms Independent Living as well as her faithful poodle, Lucy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family of Mrs. Hoilman.
