Donald "Andy" Andrew Fishel

Donald Andrew “Andy” Fishel died at his home September 10, 2023.  He was born January 6, 1969, the son of Jenny and Don Fishel. He graduated from North Davidson High School and High Point University. For the last twenty years he worked at Grass America as an account rep.

He married Christy Pegram in 1997. Their twins, Jacob and Emma, were born in 2000 and from that time on they were the center of his life.  Their home was always full of neighborhood kids and their weekends were busy with little league baseball games. He was extremely proud of them and loved the adults they have become. 

He was an avid KISS fan (20 live concerts!) and an almost obnoxious UNC basketball fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jenny, his father, Don,  and his second wife Connie. He is survived by his stepfather, Terry Foust, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is also survived by his first wife Christy. She was always his best friend and his loving and constant caretaker throughout his illness.

Last, but certainly not least, he is survived by his twins, Jacob and Emma, who were the joy of his life and gave him the will to live and reason to fight the fight. 

He will be missed by many who hope that he will “Rock and Roll All Night!!”
