Donald "Don" Edwin Smith

Mr. Donald “Don” Edwin Smith, 75, of Arcadia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Don was born in Guilford County on October 25, 1950, to the late Harold Eugene Smith and Helen Sparks Smith. Don served his country in the United States National Guard from 1970 – 1976. He graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College and retired from the city of Winston-Salem after many years of service. Don was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Thomasville. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Craig Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pastor’s Pantry, 307 N. State St., Lexington, NC 27292. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Mr. Smith.
