Donald Duggins

KERNERSVILLE – Donald Ray Duggins, 84, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Don was born on December 25, 1937 in Forsyth County to Russell and Violet Idol Duggins.

Don was a faithful member of Kernersville Wesleyan Church. He was a simple and hardworking man who enjoyed being on his tractor and tending to his cattle. In addition to farming, he loved a good fishing trip. Don’s kind and gentle heart was shown in his willingness to do anything for anyone. He had a great love for his family, grandkids and great grandkids.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Duggins, of the home; two sons, Stanley Duggins (Lori), and Vann Duggins (Debra); one daughter, Sharon Kepley (Mike); seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Duggins and Henry Duggins; two sisters, Wanda Wadkins and Diane Gamble; and many loving nieces and nephews

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Kernersville Wesleyan Church with Pastor Don Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m.  prior to the service at the church.
