Donald Gray Fulk, 72, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, August 7, 2014 while vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC. Don was born on April 22, 1942 to John Franklin Fulk, Sr. and Gertrude Bryant Fulk in Forsyth County. He was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and Don was a member of Faith Church. He loved going to Myrtle Beach, the lake, and working outside. But most of all, he loved his family and loved spending time with them. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Jean Fulk Brown. Surviving are his loving wife, Nancy Beeson Fulk; three children, Donna Searcy and husband, Jeff; Traci Searcy and husband, Clint; Chad Fulk and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Katie Elizabeth Searcy, Joshua Wayne Searcy, Julie Rae Searcy, Danielle Nicole Searcy, and Adriana Renaye Fulk, all of Winston-Salem; also surviving are a brother, John Franklin Fulk, Jr.; his special in-laws, Jerry. Linda, Larry, Faye, Debbie, Carl, Joyce and Rodney, as well as many special nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2014 at Faith Church, 1078 Gumtree Rd., Midway, NC 27107 with Pastor Michael Gates officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
