Donald Griffin

Mr. Donald E. Griffin, 71, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019.  He was born November 24, 1947 in Forsyth County to the late Robert Earl Griffin and Erma Louella Gordon Griffin.  Don had a kind, compassionate heart and found the good in everyone.  He was a loving husband, amazing father, and friend to all.  In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by a son, Donald Earl Griffin, Jr.  He is survived by his devoted wife, Denise Vestal Griffin; three children: Deitra Faith Griffin, Jon Taylor Griffin, and Jacob Miles Griffin; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Terry Wayne Griffin.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
