Donald Woodrow Hubbard

Kernersville - Donald Woodrow Hubbard, 82, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Piney Grove Nursing and Rehab. Don was born January 15, 1934 in Forsyth County to Thurman Woodrow and Mattie Dull Hubbard. He worked as a Licensed Funeral Director and was the owner/operator of Hubbard Monument Company in Kernersville, established in 1968.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded by his son, Dale Hubbard; and a sister, Patsy Walker.

Surviving are his son Timothy Hubbard (fiancé, Sharon Thomas of Clemmons); his grandson, Chris Hubbard (wife, Lindsay); and a sister, Betty Jo Parrish all of Kernersville.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Gary Cobbler officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15, at the funeral home.
