Donald Ivan Myers

Mr. Donald Ivan Myers, 85, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024, at his home. He was born February 2, 1939, in Forsyth County, NC to the late George Ivan Myers and Geneva Marlow Myers. Donald exemplified his passion for Christ for several decades through several ministries that include the Freedom Five Quintet, the Calvary Bus Ministry and the Community Outreach Ministry at North Point Baptist Church. He was a true follower of Christ. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Myers; two sons, Bob Myers (Carole) and Billy Myers; eight grandchildren, Jon, Jessie, Ashleigh, Rebekah, Noah, and Savannah Myers, Brandon and Brooke Lawson; and seven great-grandchildren, Micaela, Colin, Eli, William, Kali, Elli, and Melody Myers. The family would like to thank Trellis Supportive Care of Stokes County for their support that allowed Donald to stay at home during these difficult times. In addition, the family would like to thank their special friends and pastors who supported Donald and the family in his last few days. Donald has requested that no formal services be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Point Baptist Church, 4980 University Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC, 27106.
