Donald Lowery

Donald “Donnie” Lowery, 88, passed away on Saturday February 3, 2024, at his home. He was born on January 2, 1936, to the late Morgan Lowery and Agnes England in Forsyth County, NC. Donnie worked at Goody’s as a machinist for most of his life. He loved fixing and tinkering with anything that may be broken from scissors to electric razors. Donnie was always organized and very tidy, he also loved exercising and taking long walks in the neighborhood. He was friendly to all his neighbors even those he met on the street for the first time. Donnie is survived by his cousins Betty (Larry) Peddle, Anne (Johnny) Nichols, Martha (Gary) Willis, William Spainhour, and Jane Fulton; sister Judy Bondy; and brother Frank England. A funeral service will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Sunday February 11, 2024, at 2pm with Pastor Kevin Kilbreth officiating.
