Donald Wilkins, Jr.

Mr. Donald Eugene Wilkins, Jr., 57, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Wilkins was born in Forsyth County to Donald Eugene Wilkins Sr., and Janet Carol Hutchens on July 12, 1960. He was a member of First Pentecost Church of Holiness. Mr. Wilkins worked in respiratory care and education for over 35 years. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and gun collector. Donald loved music and being out in the wilderness. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Carol Wilkins. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Wilkins; daughters, Marissa Johnson (Jason) of Pilot Mountain; Kelsey Wilkins of Winston-Salem; son, Travis Wilkins of Mt. Airy; father, Donald Eugene Wilkins Sr., of Winston-Salem; grandchild, Journi Rose Johnson; two sisters, Donna Steinberg and Teresa Johnson both of Winston-Salem; several nieces and nephews, also several cousins. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at First Pentecost Church of Holiness, Winston-Salem, with Pastor Tim Wolfe officiating.
