Donna Fay Hartle Rogers

Mrs. Donna Fay Hartle Rogers, 66, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at High Point Medical Center.   She was born February 18, 1957, in Forsyth County, the daughter of Donald and Wanda Roberson Hartle. A member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, she had worked for the Town of Sunset Beach.  Donna Loved the ocean, fishing from the beach, collecting shells.  The beach was her “Happy Place” She was always cutting up and picking, she laughed even when she was serious to lighten the situation.   Her great sense of humor along with her caring and nurturing ways added to her devotion to her family and friends.   Donna is preceded in death by her father and a sister, Sherri Hartle Dyson.  Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Richard “Rick” Rogers; a son, Mike Anderson of High Point; her mother, Wanda Roberson Hartle of Kernersville; a brother, Dan Hartle (Tammy) of Kernersville; a grandchild, Addie Anderson of Winston-Salem and many nieces, nephews and friends.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church with Mr. Ronnie Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service in the church Fellowship Hall.   In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, 2715 Darrow Rd., Walkertown, NC 27051. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
