Donna Michelle Fisher Nava

Mrs. Donna Michelle Fisher Nava, 57, of Lexington, NC, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Donna was born in Concord, NC on January 20, 1969, to the late Larry Eugene Fisher and Sandra Jane Wallace Fisher.

Donna worked in the textile industry for more than 25 years. She was employed as a spinner with Gilden for five years and China Grove Textiles for 20 plus years. She was a member of Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC.

Donna loved her family and spending time in the kitchen preparing meals for them. She was a natural caregiver, headstrong, determined, and loved Martin’s efforts in their garden and spending time together there. Donna enjoyed problem solving puzzles and had a creative spirit. She loved using her hands to create keepsakes for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Fisher. She is survived by her husband, Martin Nava; three sons, Joshua Fisher, Antonio Nava, and Mateo Nava; granddaughter, Katie Pfeiffer; sister, Crystal Butler; two stepsons, Jesus Nava and Armando Nava; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Francis Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 4:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
