Doris Brandon Alspaugh

Mrs. Doris Brandon Alspaugh, 86, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at The Oaks Nursing Home. She was born on August 31, 1929 in Forsyth County to Mary Lawrence and Sim Brandon. Mrs. Alspaugh worked for Hanes Knitting for 44 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harold Alspaugh. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Tony Morrison officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
