Doris Maxine Banks

PfafftownDoris Maxine Banks, 84, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 at Vienna Village Assisted Living. She was born March 7, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Charlie and Elizabeth Cox. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. Preceding her in death was her husband, Ferdinand Henry Banks, Jr. and a daughter, Beverly Banks Stroyek. Surviving is a son, Ferdinand Henry Banks, III and wife, Marlyn; two daughters, Kimberly Banks Beveridge and Tracey Banks Esteven and husband, Edgar; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Vienna Village in Pfafftown for the great care Doris received over the past 5 ½ years.
