Doris Mae Newsome Ladd

Mrs. Doris Mae Newsome Ladd, 73, passed away May 30, 2017 at her home. She was born in Forsyth County on August 9, 1943 to the late Grady Oscar Newsome and Cora Lee Frances Lane Newsome. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her son, Steven Ray Gibson; two brothers, Billy Gray Newsome and Charles Wesley Newsome; and one sister Ruth Lee Newsome Moser. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Allen D. Ladd; two daughters, Angela Dawn Fulp and Sandra Diane Quesinberry; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Carolyn Newsome Edmonds (Jimmy) and Dorothy Elizabeth Newsome Smith (Michael); also numerous nieces and nephews. To honor Doris' wishes there will be no formal services.
