Doris Laughman

Mrs. Doris Kimel Laughman, 92, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital. She was born on December 14, 1925 to Cora Bodsford Kimel and Norman S. Kimel in Winston-Salem. Doris will be remembered for her keen sense of style. She had an eye for beauty, fashion, design, and decorating. She excelled at cooking and homemaking for as long as her health permitted. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Laughman; as well as her 4 siblings; and her former husband, Fred E. Potter. Surviving are her children, Pamela Potter, Timothy Potter, and De Potter; numerous nephews and nieces; and a sister-in-law, Billie Kimel. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
