Doris Lee Mills

Mrs. Doris Kiser Mills, 82, passed away Thursday July 6, 2023 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 5, 1941 to the late Austin Herbert Kiser and Marth Fulk Kiser in Rockingham County. Doris was a faithful member of Redbank Missionary Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. She enjoyed crafting, used her skills as a self-taught computer repairman for friends and family, and loved her time spent working as a photo lab tech at Walmart. In addition to her parents Doris was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Lloyd Mills, and a son; Kenneth Owen Mills, and two brothers; Herbert Leo Kiser, and William “Pete” Hayes Kiser. She is survived by her daughter; Debra Adams (Mike), a grandson; Brandon Adams (Stacy), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday July 10, 2023 at Redbank Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Sanders officiating. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Crestview Memorial Park. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Stephen Webber and his staff, as well as the 6^th floor Cardiac Unit for the love and support given during her Illness.
