Dorothy Carolyn Azmon Beamon

Mrs. Dorothy Carolyn Azmon Beamon, 89, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at her home. She was born April 4, 1928 in Forsyth County to the late James Albert Azmon and Alma Newsom Azmon. Mrs. Beamon was a Jehovah's Witness and retired from AT&T/Lucent Technologies with 40 years of dedicated service. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, James Everett Beamon; sister, Helen Azmon Sparks; brother, James Kenneth Azmon; four sisters-in-law: Arlene Bunch (Bill) of Clemmons, Novella B. Doub of Salisbury, Helen B. Mickels of Salisbury, and Doris B. Stewart of Dallas, NC; and her beloved rescued cats: Ginger, Punkin, Sam, Samson, and Millie. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Elder John Tilton and Elder James Dunnagan officiating.
