Dorothy "Dot" Robertson Blackburn

BELEWS CREEK - Dorothy ""Dot"" Robertson Blackburn, 75, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Dot was born on October 7, 1939, in Decatur, IL to Joseph and Rose Hartman Robertson. She retired from Adams Millis.
In addition to her parents, Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Charles ""Phil"" Blackburn; her brother, Jim Robertson; and her sister, Bonita Evenson.
Surviving are two daughters, Kim Hinsdale (Adrian) and Renee' Freeman (Eric); four grandchildren, Erika Hinsdale-Goldfarb (Corey), Brittney Hinsdale (Chris), Erin Freeman (Corbin) and Matthew Freeman.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
