Dorothy 'Lucy' Baity Dull

LewisvilleMrs. Dorothy ""Lucy"" Baity Dull, 89, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She was born April 1, 1924 in Forsyth County to the late Frank and Stella Bailey Clodfelter. Mrs. Dull was a member of Vienna Baptist Church and retired from Hanes Hosiery with 43 years of service. She loved cooking, gardening, reading her bible, and was always finding a way to help out a neighbor or friend. Preceding her in death was her first husband, Wade Baity and her second husband, Hobert Dull; sisters, Thelma Bovender (Everett), Kate Miller (Clarence), and Mary Ellen Slater (Dan); brother, James Robert Clodfelter; brothers-in-law, Dallas Dull, C.F. Barr, Billy Myers, and Luke Scott; sister-in-law, Norma Dull; nephews, Curtis Miller and Danny Slater. Surviving are a daughter, Elaine Baity Norman (Arlis) of East Bend; sister-in-law, Mildred Scott; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Hazel Stevenson of Clemmons; sister-in-law, Betty Myers of Advance, brother-in-law, Jack Dull of Lewisville; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Barr of Clemmons and Betty Dull of Burlington; nieces and nephews, Robert Miller (Cheryl), Dot Adams (Bobby), Jean Miller, special nephew,Bobby Williams (Traci), special niece, Ann Miller (John), Mark Myers, Bonnie Miller (David), Ronald Slater (Margaret), and many special friends and neighbors. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Pastor Perry Link and Pastor Steve Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:30-8:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Hospice, especially Jenn and Barbara for all the care that was given to Mrs. Dull.
