Dorothy Foster

Mrs. Dorothy McDaniel Foster, 82, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018. She was born September 13, 1935 in Forsyth County to John Henry McDaniel, Sr. and Pauline Teague McDaniel. Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Eugene Foster and three brothers. Surviving are a daughter, Velda Wall of Walnut Cove; two granddaughters, Donna Bryant (Joey) of Camden, NC and Barbra Troutman (Kelly) of Walkertown, NC and four great grandchildren, Jeffrey Bryant, Logan Bryant, Brady Bryant and Alissa Troutman. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Pine Chapel Moravian Church with Rev. James Demby officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Moravian Graveyard. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. (Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek)
