Dorothy Henry-Davis

Mrs. Dorothy Grubbs Henry-Davis, 87, of Lewisville, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born October 14, 1935 in Forsyth County to John Edward Grubbs and Edna Mae Roberson Grubbs. Dorothy was a member of Olivet Moravian Church and retired from the City of Winston-Salem. She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her two sons, Graham Henry; her second husband, Frank Edward Davis; three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are two sons, Bill Henry (Donna) and Larry Henry; three grandchildren, Jennifer Betson (Patrick), Parker Henry and Reed Henry (Chloe); three great grandchildren, Reese Betson, Avery Betson and Adalyn Henry; a sister, Betty Huls (Bill); a brother-in-law, Glenn Walker; a sister-in-law, Jane Bracken and several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at Forsyth Memorial Park Gazebo with Rev. Matthew W. Allen officiating. There is no stated visitation. The family would like to thank the staff at Vienna Village for their care and compassion for Dorothy.
