Dorothy Mae Luck Luper

Dorothy Mae Luck Luper, age 97, of Lewisville, N.C., went home to be with her Lord on March 10, 2026. She was born on May 21, 1928, a daughter of the late Kennie and Lola Luther Luck.

She was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church of Lewisville, N.C. In her early years, Dot worked at Hanes, but her greatest joy was caring for her home and family. Dot loved watching sunsets and birds and was grateful for God’s creation.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David; two sons, Billy and Roger; and all of her siblings except for her sister, Bonnie Grubbs Campbell of Walkertown.

In addition to her sister, Bonnie, she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2026, at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church, with Rev. Ryan Mendenhall and Rev. Greg Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, Dot has requested memorials be made to Harmony Grove United Methodist Church.
