Dorothy Lee McCuiston, 93, died Friday at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Dorothy was born June 28, 1920 in Louisville, Kentucky to Irene Lee and Charles T. McCuiston. She resided at Wyman Road, Winston-Salem many years but more recently at Danby House. Dot was a member of Calvary Moravian Church. A graduate of R.J. Reynolds High School, she attended Salem Academy and served in the U.S. Military Intelligence Division War Department from April 1943 to July 1945. Dorothy was Administrative Assistant to Dr. Robert McMillan for many years but a career change took her to Piedmont Airlines until her retirement. Surviving Dot are two nieces, Linda McCuiston Deahl of Inman, SC and Ann McCuiston McFall of Shallotte, NC and numerous great nieces and great nephews. She will also be missed by her loving and faithful Stephens Minister, Linda Smith, and long-time friend Jo-Anne Lineback McAllister of Raleigh. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, November 11, 2013 at Salem Moravian Graveyard with Rt. Rev. Lane Sapp officiating.
