Douglas Fretzer Beasley

Lewisville - Mr. Douglas Fretzer Beasley, 81, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Trinity Elms. He was born August 7, 1934 in Guilford County to the late William Bryant and Pearl Brooks Beasley. Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife, Wa-Dean Beasley; four children, Dawn Austin (David) of Wilmington, Robin Beasley of Greensboro, Arnold Beasley (Brenda) of Trinity, and Shane Beasley (Kay) of Rural Hall; two step-children, Swansa L. Bryant (Steve) of Yadkinville and Bryan Long (Tina) of East Bend; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; also surviving are three sisters, Bonnie Quick of Kernersville, Shirley Schoffner of Mocksville, and Juanita ""Sis"" Lindley of Kernersville. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Yadkin Memorial Park with Rev. Jamie Reavis officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hayworth-miller.com.
