Douglas Terry Kingsbury

Mr. Douglas Terry Kingsbury, 56, passed away February 1, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 30, 1960 in Surry County to William ""Billy"" Grady Kingsbury and Barbara Easter Kingsbury. He is preceded in death by his father: one brother, Mike Kingsbury. Douglas is survived by his lovely wife, Sharon ""Lou"" Kingsbury; mother, Barbara Kingsbury; one daughter, Shannan Haupt (Andrew); one son, Philip Kingsbury (Emily); Zack Kiger (Meagan), Jessica Kiger. 12 grandchildren, Rachael and Cayden Douglas Kingsbury, Hunter Haupt, Lyndsay, Leslie, Jaylan, Victoria, Isaiah, Cameron, Leeland, Ka Marrie, and Kynlee Kiger; one sister, Sherry Whitman (Joe). A funeral service will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Jerry Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 A.M.
