Earline Bohannon Welch

Mrs. Earline Bohannon Welch, 87, of Winston-Salem, passed away on May 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born on October 26, 1929 in Forsyth County, NC to Claude Lacy Bohannon Sr. and Elizabeth Byerly Bohannon. Earline was a Charter member of Rosemont Baptist Church and currently a member of Pinedale Christian Church. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Stephen Wayne Welch; a daughter, Dianne Lewellyn and husband Leroy; a grandson, Ross Lewellyn; three brothers, CL Bohannon and wife Lib, William ""Bill"" Bohannon and wife Jean, and Jimmy Ray Bohannon. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, William ""Bill"" B. Welch; two sons, Tony Welch and wife Kathy, Randy Welch and wife Jody; three grandsons, Chase Lewellyn, Cole Welch, Grant Welch and wife Theresa; a great granddaughter, Brooke Welch and a sister-in-law, Jimmie Bohannon. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Bob McCaskill officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
