Earnest Howard Morgan

Mr. Earnest Howard Morgan, 79, went to be with the Lord, December 28, 2016 at his residence. Howard ""Shorty"" Morgan was born April 8, 1937 in Forsyth County to the late Howell Norman Morgan and Pauline Kennedy Morgan. He gave his life to the Lord in 1975 and was a faithful member of Pfafftown Baptist Church for 41 years. He loved God, his family, and Frank Blum Construction. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister; Jimmy Morgan, Lilian Isley, and Richard Morgan. Surviving is his loving wife of 52 years, five months, Jo Ann Sink Morgan; one son, Tony Morgan; one daughter, Scarlet Morgan Smith; three grandchildren, Gianna Smith, Martha Elizabeth Morgan, Sarah Kate Morgan; three sisters and one brother, Frances Brooks (Jack), Jean Bryant (Bill), Jason S. Morgan, Helen Doss (Steve); one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, John and Cindy Woodard, and numerous nephews and nieces. We hope all family and friends will come 1:00 PM Saturday, January 14, 2017 to Pfafftown Baptist Church and celebrate with us the life of Howard ""Shorty"" Morgan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Fund, www.jdrf.org, and Pfafftown Baptist Church, PO Box 27, Pfafftown, NC, 27040.
