E.C. Hampton, Jr.

Walkertown - Mr. E.C. Hampton, Jr. passed away December 10, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home and Palliative Care Center. He was born August 29, 1929 to the late Everette Charles Hampton, Sr. and Mrs. Ruby Roberts Hampton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Davis Hampton, 2 brothers, Dale and Blake Hampton, and a sister, Evelyn Higgins.
Surviving are; five children, Janet Kirkman, Mike Hampton, Marla Hampton, Beth (Jeff) Crews, and Eric Hampton. 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel in Walkertown with Pastor Lynn Cash officiating. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening.
In lieu of flowers the family would like for donations to be made to donor's choice, Kate B. Reynolds Hospice and Palliative Care Center at 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103, the American Cancer Society, 4 Oak Branch Dr. # A, Greensboro, NC 27407, or to Love's United Methodist Church at 3020 Main Street Walkertown, NC 27051.
