Eddie Wayne Ashburn

Mr. Eddie Wayne Ashburn, 57, passed away January 12, 2014 at his residence. He was born on July 14, 1956 in Stokes County to Clyde Edwin Ashburn and Mary Lee Wall Ashburn. Eddie was a buyer for Universal Leaf Tobacco Co. and was of the Baptist Faith. He had many difficulties in his life but always loved his family and especially his nieces, Hannah and Courtnie. He is survived by two brothers, Rick Ashburn of Charlotte, and Craig Ashburn and wife Rikki of King. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Bro. Don Collins and Brent Mays officiating. Burial will follow at Pilot View United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pinnacle. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pilot View United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Clarence Allen, 659 Pilot Church Rd., Pinnacle, NC 27043.
