Edith Marie Pegram Roberson

Edith Marie Roberson, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026. She was born on September 19, 1933, to the late Arnold Wade Pegram and Annie Sue Gravette Pegram in Forsyth County, NC. Mrs. Roberson was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She worked in the nursery and retired from Forsyth Hospital after 42 years of service as an evening nursing supervisor. She enjoyed listening to the Gaither Vocal Gospel band. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charles E Roberson; as well as a sister, Sue Wall. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Charles David Roberson of Kernersville and Robert Joseph Roberson (Renee) of Rougemont; two granddaughters Heather Marie Boccanfusso (Vinnie) of Mebane and Morgan Denise Roberson of Durham; as well as one great-grandchild on the way. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, NC with Bro. Frank Shumate and Bro. Steve Roberson officiating. These arrangements are entrusted to Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Kernersville.
