Edith Vestal Myers

Mrs. Edith Katherine Vestal Myers, 84, passed away November 30, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born December 18, 1931 in Forsyth County to the late Robeth Vestal and Ruby Miller Vestal. Mrs. Myers was a member of Elbaville United Methodist Church and retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 32 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Myers and her brothers and sister, Howard, John, Rachel, and Richard. She is survived by her two sons, Jerry Myers and Garry Myers; a brother, Kenneth and her two sisters, Shirley and Pat. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elbaville United Methodist Church, 2595 N. C. Hwy 801 South, Advance, NC 27006.
