Edith Tesh

Mrs. Edith Sheets Tesh, 94, passed away on April 2, 2018 at Alston Brook Rehabilitation Center of Lexington. She was born on September 19, 1923 to Lillian C. Boyer Sheets and David B. Sheets in Forsyth County. She worked as an inspector for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and retired with 40 years of service. Edith enjoyed reading the paper and clipping coupons. She delighted in watching and feeding the birds. But mostly, she loved her family. Edith was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William B. Tesh; and a grandson, Steven Eugene Scarbro. Surviving are her daughters, Sylvia Keaton and Sandra Beauchamp; grandchildren, Angela Scarbro, Mark Scarbro, Sandy Coleman, and Elizabeth Beauchamp; five great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren, and one sister, Ellen Hunter (Don). A graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family extends special thanks to the staff at Alston Brook for their exceptional care.
