Edna Louise Parrish Boaz

Mrs. Edna Louise Parrish Boaz, 83, passed away August 24, 2016. She was born July 22, 1933 in Forsyth County to the late Annie Lee Swain Parrish and Coy Lee Parrish. She worked 15 years in Food Service and Bahnson Inc. Mrs. Boaz was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boaz was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Boaz; two brothers, Jake and Troy Parrish; and one sister, Sis Simmons. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Faye Blake (Clyde); son, Buddy Boaz (Rena); one sister, Lib Myers; one brother, Ralph Parrish; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 27, at Brims Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Vic Pyles officiating.
