Edwin Davis Taylor

Edwin Davis Taylor, 59, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2024, in his residence. He was born on May 18, 1965, to the late Jerry Taylor and Suzanne Krupel Taylor in Forsyth County. Eddie was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. After he graduated, he began his journey as a United States Marine. Eddie was proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps in both the Gulf War and the Panama Conflict. He was a hardworking and kind man. Eddie would give you the shirt off his back. In his free time, he enjoyed watching races. More than anything, he loved his family. His two daughters were his world, and he would take any opportunity to talk about them. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. 

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sheleé Baugham Taylor; two daughters, Darris Perkins and Alicia Taylor; a sister, Lisa Taylor; as well as two nieces, Olivia Mitchell and Raven Banner.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Glenn View Baptist Church with Rev. Dominic Immordino and Rev. Kevin Kilbreth officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home at 101 Hospice Ln, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting with the service.
